Loaning out money…
Don’t do it! Not unless you can afford to lose it.
My story: One day my friends and I go out to a fast food restaurant. I didn’t have any cash because I hadn’t went to the ATM that morning. My friend use $3 for me. The next she had asked me for the $ but I still didn’t go to the ATM. She had the nerve to be upset with me. I was going to pay her back! It’s not like I was avoiding her or anything, but she had the audacity to get an attitude about it. So I offered to use my debit card to pay for her food. So after I drove her (yes, used my gas!!) to a restaurant, she turns around and but $9 worth of stuff. Not saying that’s a lot of money but now she owes me. And when I asked her for my $6 she comes up the WEAKEST excuses, yet she has money to spend on junk food? So I provided transportation and a meal for her and you don’t even make an ATTEMPT to pay me back? That’s rude. She expected her $ back on the spot, the least could of did was given me the indication she was going to pay me back, instead she buys chips and drink and whatever else for herself. If she ever ask me for $ again and it isn’t an emergency my answer will be ” HELL NO!”
